cpt_onscasse
This tool is a coloring tool for SCM
files, it's very easy to use it, just look the basic interface.

This is when you give it a SCM file alone
1) set object color : it means to set
object colors for the SCM file.
2) export color pattern : it means to export the existing color from a SCM
object to a file (to re-use it later).
3) this is the two previous actions into one choice.
Then, admitting that you modified your
object in 3D Studio MAX, you'll have to re-export it to ASE and re-generate your
SCM file, losing the color pattern, this is a big problem with very big objects.
That's why cpt_onscasse permit you to re-import previously exported color
pattern (this is the export first goal :))
Look at what happen when you drop a SCM
file and a .cpt file (CPT stands for Color PaTtern).

4) import color pattern appeared and this
option will permit you to re-insert your previous object color into the new
modified one. You just have to select a .scm and a .cpt file and drop them on
cpt_onscasse.exe, it'll automatically make the difference between them and do
the good operations.
Now the coloring and naming way.
You can change or set objects new colors
and name, when you'll process a SCM file, cpt_onscasse will retrieve every
current information and will write it on the screen, thus you'll be able to
change it or just keeping the default values by pressing enter key without any
text nor numbers.

Here, you can see that I colored a chair
object, with Support object and Pieds (the chair feet), previous values were the
originally exported ones (0xFFFFFFFF) and I didn't change the names (purple).
(sorry for the bad jpeg compression :/)
